5 of 6 Building Trust in Business: Admit when you don't know

"I don't know but I will get back to you" is an essential business skill. It's a response that builds immediate trust.
When people ask us a question, they're looking for THE answer. If our response is uncertain or untrue, we're not helping them get what they need. We're taking advantage of their trust in our knowledge and we're choosing our ego over our integrity.
Reasons why you should admit when you don't know something:
1️⃣ It gives you an opportunity to pursue knowledge
2️⃣ It gives you an opportunity to build even more trust through follow-through
3️⃣ You won't be a liar
